独特的EVOM2 电路设计和STX2电极的完美结合,让其可以监测单层细胞的融合状态,当与WPI 公司设计的单个小室结合使用时,它也可以用来完成更加精确的定量测量
或更低电阻的测量,如血脑屏障(BBB)内皮生长电阻测量。
工作原理
通过主机产生10 μA的恒定跨膜电流,同时以一定的频率反转电极的极性,从而电极和膜均无电荷累积,10 μA 的电流通过STX2 的两个电流电极(I1和I2)跨过细胞膜,另一对电极(V1和V2)测量达到10 μA电流所需要的电压,并将信息发送给处理器。处理器根据欧姆定律将其转化为欧姆,在读数表上显示数字。因为电流是固定的10 μA,因此很容易转化出测量结果。如在膜电阻为1000 Ω时,10 μA电流通过的电压应是10 mV;
在膜电阻为200 Ω时,10 μA的电流将产生2 mV的电压;不论何种情况,在膜或电极上消耗的能量都非常少。
